DESCRIPTION
The school will consist of three mini-courses, each on the topic of Renormalization and Visualization for packing, billiard an surfaces"
They will be on Geometry, Dynamics, and Number Theory. These topics are related to those who appear in the main conference and in the workshop. They should be given by: - Richard Evan Schwartz: Billiards in Polyhedra: computation, visualization, and renormalization. - Carlos Matheus: Renormalization in dynamical systems. - Kate Stange: Packings, Number theory, geometry, and visualization respectively. Each minicourse will consist of 3 lectures and 2 problem sessions, which will include computational exercises and work, for a total of 15 hours. There will be a final overall discussion session of 2 hours on Friday morning. |
