MAIN CONFERENCE
Function Spaces and Harmonic Analysis (1251)

Dates: 27-31 October 2014 at CIRM (Marseille Luminy, France)
DESCRIPTION
Function spaces have become a central object in analysis in the last decades. This conference was devoted to (operators on) such spaces and their relation to Harmonic Analysis (Time-frequency analysis) and applications.
We got specifically interested in Complex Analysis methods motivated by and used in these applications. Among the themes discussed were interpolation/sampling, systems of reproducing kernels, spectral analysis/synthesis, Toeplitz, Hankel operators, Berezin transform, atomic decompositions, continuous frames, Banach frames, lolalization, Dirichlet series, quasicrystals etc.

The overall goal was to bring together people from the different subject areas to promote fruitful exchange of ideas and to encourage new research. The stimulating atmosphere at CIRM provided a good environment for successful activities of this kind.
